I’ve been painting in watercolor since the early 90’s, when my daughter gave me a brush, some paints and paper and said, “Mom, you can do this!” I’ve been painting ever since! I love the misty atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest – it’s such a joy when the sun comes out! Many of my paintings are water scenes, or from trips we’ve taken throughout the world. We were active kayakers for many years, and while those days are over, I still have the memories and a lot of photographs. My new studio makes it easy to paint every day, and I love that! I am proud to be a founding member of Alcove Art Gallery in Ridgefield, Washington. I also am a member of the Ridgefield Art Association, and Northwest Watercolor Association. I invite you to visit the gallery and see the work of eight devoted artists in all media.
