Patricia Thompson - Batik Fabric Wall Hangings and Gifts
Patricia Thompson
Patricia grew up in beautiful Alaska, where the great outdoors nurtured her creative spirit.
For the last eight years she has made her home here in Ridgefield, Washington, which neighbors the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.
From an early age Patricia began creating artwork in a variety of mediums, which include among others: paper, wood, fabric, paint, mosaic, charcoal and colored pencil. Most recently she has been working in pastels.
In 2008 Patricia's charcoal ‘Transition in Light’ was published in Clark Colleges ‘Phoenix’ an art and literary publication. The same piece of artwork hung in their ‘2008 Student Art Show’. She is also a member of the Ridgefield Art Association.
Much of her current work dipicts herons, egrets, swans and chickadees on the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.
All of her artwork can be viewed on her personal website.
